Our Brand Standards guidelines are very specific about how beds should be set up, from the amount of pillows used to how they should be presented. Bed throws are not a part of any Radisson brand bed setup.

Bed Issues - Wrinkled Linens
Similar to the bed setup, our Brand Standards state that bed linens should be pressed and steamed. For this reason, wrinkled bed linens are a common reason for rejection.

Meeting Room Issues - Sustainability
Due to our Think Planet initiative, we at Radisson Hotel Group strive for sustainability and believe in a sustainable future. Therefore, the use of plastic bottles goes against our brand guidelines, which is a common reason for Meeting Room images rejection.

Meeting Room Issues - Cluttered Tables
Ballrooms and large venues can be difficult setups to photograph due to the sheer amount of elements in the room. For this reason, we advise keeping unnecessary clutter to a minimum, avoiding both background elements and food items on the table.

Pixelation
Our DAM system features a robust optimization system, while imagery for print requires a certain resolution. For this reason, we only accept imagery over 3000px on the shorter side. If we accept any less than this size, pixelation becomes more apparent when on brand web.

Hotel imagery should strive to showcase a hotel’s features and charm. For this reason, we reject imagery that lacks appeal and fails to demonstrate a hotel’s beauty. For example, it’s important to take into account the season, time of day, and surroundings when taking exterior imagery.

Food
There is an entire industry based around food imagery for good reason. All food imagery should be well-lit and composed thoughtfully. For best results, we advise to shoot specific dishes separately, and to avoid shooting the dishes ‘directly as served’.

Amenities
While we generally don’t recommend shooting amenities, we understand there may be occasions when shooting certain details or amenities can help to highlight a resort or spa’s unique qualities. In these cases, imagery of amenities should be well-lit with consideration for the resort or spa surroundings.

Lifestyle Imagery - People
We generally avoid using imagery including people, except for lifestyle images that are on-brand and reserved for web use. If images with people are necessary, it is recommended to keep the subjects ambiguous and maintain the level of elegance and sophistication that we associate with the Radisson brand.

Lifestyle Imagery - Weddings
Lifestyle imagery is the only exception for including people, and even then we try to keep it on our brand web only. When supplying wedding imagery, it is important to remember that as a whole, the Radisson brand represents a degree of elegance and sophistication.
