Enhanced user journey
Some highlights of the latest digital releases ofour website and app
New flows for PacCode (promotional code) searches
The different changes applied for this project make it possible for users who are searching using a PacCode (promotional codes used in campaigns, specific offers, deals…) to be presented with alternative public rates when the searching criteria do not allow retrieving promotional rates, covering three different situations:
▪ There are promotional rates for the dates selected but there is also availability for any other period: this scenario includes a dedicated calendar to launch a new search for different available dates, and alternative ‘lowest available rates’ (standard ones) are displayed.
▪ There are never promotional rates: neither for the dates selected nor for different dates, as the promotion does not apply to the property. In this case, there is a comprehensive message displayed to the user and alternative public, available and bookable rates are presented.
▪ Neither promotional rates nor standard ones are available: this other situation does not display alternative rates as none of them is bookable but communicates properly the need for the user to change dates to get proper availability.

CRM new capabilities (identification of the source of opt-in and reset password flows)
To enhance some CRM flows, two diverse developments have been implemented. On the one hand, the possibility of knowing the source of the Member’s opt-in, which allows to recognise the strongest and weakest sections, enabling to carry out more specific actions and awareness campaigns, applying to:
▪ Enrolments (including all types such as B2C, B2B or partners)
▪ Activation form (where the opt-in capabilities are available since early this year)
▪ Booking Funnel (differentiating Opt-in in the check-out or Book&Join reservations)
▪ Preference Center in the member’s private area
On the other hand, we are now able to identify the account status of a member trying to reset their password so that, if the account is not active, an extra activation email will be sent (apart from the one sent when the account was created). On the contrary, if the account is already active, the regular reset password flow will happen.
Most important bugs fixed
▪ Correct padding and design structure in upselling pages
▪ Immersive content properly playing on mobile devices, keeping the session on brand.com
▪ Booking Funnel still, avoiding refocusing when changing from Member’s to Public rates
▪ Reduced by half the number of DoS requests of the website, avoid reaching the limit established by Akamai
▪ Card slider arrows are hidden when the component is made out of just one card
▪ Stay dates and event can be added to the calendar after the booking is confirmed
▪ Accurate Radisson Blu logo all over the sections of the website
▪ Hero slider visible on all Landing pages where it is used
Digital Key Released
We're happy to finally announce the soft release of our Digital Key, with a pilot currently underway at Radisson RED Brussels. This exciting development marks a significant milestone in our commitment to enhancing the guest experience through cutting-edge technology.
As we roll out the Digital Key across more hotels, we will continuously implement improvements and refinements based on user feedback and real-world application.
Continued Bug fixes and UI enhancements
We have been diligently working on a series of bug fixes, UI enhancements, and backend improvements to the user experience. Current projects underway include fixes to searches involving PAC codes (as mentioned in Web), significant development in our Add Extra's screen (specifically stock management), and an enhancement to the hero section on our Offer pages.
Additionally, our CRM team now has the capability to track user opt-ins throughout their specific journeys, enabling more targeted and effective customer engagement.

Android: New Minimum OS
We are upgrading our app's minimum Android OS requirement from Android 6 (Marshmallow) to Android 8 (Oreo) allowing our development team to leverage the latest tools and APIs, resulting in enhanced performance, security, and user experience.
This upgrade enables us to incorporate modern features such as floating window, improved notifications, and better battery optimization. By making this change, we're hoping we can also implement future innovations ensuring our app stays cutting-edge and secure.

App Name Change:
Radisson Hotel Stays
We're also excited to announce the official renaming of our app from "Radisson Hotel Room Booking" to the more concise and appealing "Radisson Hotel Stays."
This strategic change in name, aligns our app more closely with industry standards and enhances its professional appearance and branding. We believe that "Radisson Hotel Stays" will not only resonate better with our users but also position us more competitively in the marketplace.

App Landing Page Revamp
Alongside our comprehensive web redesign, we have also revitalized our website's landing page for the app (which you can view here). Beyond an updated and modern appearance, the new design strategically highlights the app's unique selling points, with a strong emphasis on improving the experience for mobile viewers.
